THUNDER OVER WIDOW'S WALK - Saturday, April 12, 2025 (it will be here before you know it)!

Widow's Walk is selling tickets to those of you who would like your very own, all day, guaranteed spot on our property to enjoy a fabulous day of Thunder fun and excitement.

As many of you know, there just isn't a better place ANYWHERE to enjoy Thunder than at Ashland Park on the Indiana side of the river, ESPECIALLY now that Riverside Drive has been revitalized! And with your own "go to spot" at Widow's Walk, right across the street from the park (and a short distance from the NEW INLCUSIVE PLAYGROUND), you'll still be right in the middle of the festivities, but you won't have to fight the crowds for a great spot to enjoy the air show (and especially the fireworks) once the huge crowds start gathering (and a REAL bathroom rather than a PORTA POT is worth its weight in gold!.

PRICE OF TICKET INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING:

Guaranteed, reserved seating area with in/out privileges, without losing your spot - Seating includes areas for 2, 4, 6 and even 8 people groups (special accommodations will be made for larger parties who want to sit together). SELECTION OF RESERVED SEATING will take place beginning April 1, 2025 and will be in the order of ticket purchase for anyone showing up at the same time, so the earlier you purchase your ticket(s), the better your chances are at picking the space you want (even though there really isn't a bad space on the property). Widow's Walk staff will maintain a reserved seating chart in the event of seating issues. HOWEVER, Widow's Walk WILL NOT be responsible for any items left unattended in your reserved spot (just for the spot itself). There will also be areas available if you prefer to bring your own chairs, tables, etc. NOTE: There is no seating available whatsoever on the upper floors of the house, the upstairs balcony or the first floor porch.

NICE INSIDE, CLEAN RESTROOM will be available for use by Widow's Walk ticket holders ONLY.

FREE HOT DOG, CHIPS, and DRINK for EACH ticketholder (no need to break the bank with food vendors)!

EXCLUSIVE ACCESS to The Widow's Walk Ice Creamery's FULL MENU (closed to the public that day) with a 20% off all-day discount (this discount does not include ice cream or any other items purchased from our street vending operation that IS open to the public that day).

PRIVATE SECURITY on the grounds to keep everyone safe (can't ever be too careful)!

VARIOUS UNEXPECTED WEATHER ACCOMODATIONS (blankets for the cold and canopies for the rain)!

INDOOR STORAGE, if needed, provided PRIOR TO Thunder day so you don’t have to walk carrying anything. There is no parking at Widows Walk and no driving on Riverside Drive from Friday to Sunday, so this is a HUGE CONVENIENCE. All items must be brought in the Thursday before and picked up no later than the Sunday after (NO LARGE COOLERS and NO ALCOHOL allowed). Canopies are allowed, but can only be used if it rains (this is so other guests view of the air show/fireworks is not obstructed).

If you didn't get in on the DISCOUNTED PRESALE in January (or the extension of that through February 9), the tickets starting February 10 are $100.00 per person for adults and $75.00 for children 12 and under (with a limited number of children's tickets). These prices are good until February 28 only. Prices will increase substantially in March (if there are any left), and no tickets will be sold in April.
